dreams

Stories are how we communicate what we experience and envision in our inner and outer worlds. The stories we tell ourselves and each other help us to connect the glimpses, fragments and dreams of our reality into coherent meaning.

Our most powerful stories usually form around fundamental patterns that we all experience. These patterns are often known as archetypes, and help create the Heroic Space in which we project and reflect our personal and collective myths.

Dreamwork Stories are a way to explore our Heroic Space and express our own archetypal adventures. By identifying and acknowledging characters, plots, locations and props we can create an Archetypal Story that illuminates fundamental patterns in our situation.

As well as Archetypal Stories, we can also immerse ourselves in other story experiences, such as Silent Stories, Human Stories and Story Listening. All the stories that we tell emerge from a deeper level of unconscious awareness that is accessible to us all by sharing our personal mythologies with each other.
